Vote for me in the UK Blog Awards (please)!
I'm delighted that this blog is in the running for a UK Blog Award.
Voting closed on Monday 25 January, 2016
Blog overview
My blog takes a sideways look at the wonderful world of charities, from the perspective of someone who has worked in the sector for over 20 years. Fundraising, communications, governance, and many other topics have been tackled, very often with a somewhat left-field approach - recent blogs have linked the sector to Yoda, Blue Peter and marshmallows, among other unexpected metaphors.
Why vote for me? (voting has now closed)
This has been a difficult time for charities for various reasons, but it's a great sector to work in, and this blog aims to celebrate how interesting, peculiar and motivating the world of charities can be. If it helps just one person do their job more effectively, and retain their enthusiasm for their important work, then it's definitely worth it!
