Got a charity job interview? Here’s some advice!
This blog is for people who are interested in working for a charity. I can tell from the number of views of my last blog on the subject that there are quite a few of you out there!
So, this time I asked the same question to a range of people already working in the sector, including a Chief Executive, a Head of Fundraising, some recruitment professionals, and some charity sector freelance professionals (in short, the kinds of people who may well be on the other side of the interview table!):
What advice would you give to someone preparing for an interview to work for a charity?

1. Do your research
"Know the charity you're being interviewed by. Go beyond the first few pages of their website and try and really understand what makes them special and who/what they help and why. People who work for a charity work for a cause, and they want to know that the people they recruit understand and believe in that cause."
